Martial Arts programs for kids, teens, and adults are not all the same.
At Toe2Toe we realize that society has varying standards for self-defense. It would be unconscionable to teach a third grader to gouge the eyes of another kid on the playground, and it would also be foolish to teach an eighteen-year-old college student to use “movie-magic/Power Ranger” kicks in a sexual-assault scenario. We also realize that size and physical characteristics make a huge difference. We could try to teach the same program to everyone, much like traditional schools do, but in the end there is a need to give each group specific skills, and then ensure they are well practiced in applying those skills in their individual lives.
